Choose Your Own Adventure

Valentine's Day – a day of love, hearts, and chocolates. But let’s be honest, it’s also a prime opportunity to get a little creative with your kids. Sure, they’ll love the typical card and candy routine, but why not throw in a little surprise, nature, and some quirky fun that’ll make them giggle all day long?

We just came back from vacation in upstate NY with family, and my SIL made the mistake of ordering a GIANT giant's portion of flour. The bag was 25 pounds of pure powder.  After I stopped laughing, we decided that we also would buy a 25 pound bag of flour and we would spend the next 3 months trying to find creative ways to use it.  I'm a huuuuuge sucker for challenges!  But now I am looking for some ways to burn though a toddler bag of flour.  So far, we have pancakes. And the list ends there.

Wherever you are, whoever you are with, hope you are having a great holiday weekend!  Our weekend always consists of spending it with family at the Jersey shore.  I had the BEST salad that I immediately came home and wanted to shout it from the rooftops.
